Today, we are going to talk about customizing the Website. I will explain what my own design looks like. We will be discussing widgets, customization, and benefits for scheduling.
Which kinds of lists for Widgets are available on your site?
| Search | In the header for display, where customer can look up and find their specific need, |
| Recent Post | When you can see the post was recent, from earlier, or yesterday. |
| Categories | The lists of categories in the three bars on the top right help you find your title to research. |
| Image | On the page, you will see a different kind of picture being posted. |
| Gallery | It is the group of pictures on the page. When you can see the categories, for example, in group picture baking, kitchen supplies, ingredients, and more. |
Which widgets am I using for my sites?
| Sidebar: Categories | This in sidebar for my customer who can click on the categories to find what they are looking for, whether it’s baking or learning. |
| Blog Sidebar: Search | The blog sidebar Search, if my customer wants a shortcut, instead of scrolling down or clicking too much. The Search Bar is ready quickly and on time. |
| Footer 1: Contact Form | The footer one is a contact form if my customer wants to contact me for help or feedback (suggestions or ideas). We can know what to improve on the site or bake more. |
The other features that I already customized.
Device Previews
I could use this for checking different devices of web desk, tablet, and mobile to make sure my site looks good and smooth. Also, I could see the layout in different ways or change the styles if I need to make a change in the future.
AMP Plugin Setting
I have already downloaded the AMP plugin for the Standard mode. They can enable the posts and pages. Also, it improves the mobile performance and helps the pages look better, and ensures there are no errors.
Theme Appearance
I could change the styles in the different themes to match my site. I can create different layouts of the site to make it better for customer will stay on the site for a long time.
Benefits of Scheduling
- Planning ahead of time for seasonal or themed events: If the holiday is here, I could need to change sites to a Christmas theme to match the holiday season. I can change any time like events, birthdays, deals, and more.
- Testing before they go on live: I may need to check everything before they go on live. I can play around and test the button to make sure it works, and we can always fix it before they go on live.
